Nothing is charged if you don't use your card. Health+ only generates a bill when you actually receive healthcare services.
You can cancel once any outstanding balance is fully settled. Termination must be notified in writing at least 2 months before the annual expiry date (December 31). The card must be returned upon cancellation.

Terms & Conditions

These conditions apply exclusively within the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Any natural person of legal age formalising their commitment by signing a duly completed membership form becomes "the member." Health+ is not a classic health insurance but rather a concept of social health protection designed to provide accessible care across Somalia.
An electronic card held by the member for entitlement to benefits through approved medical structures. It contains all information necessary for identification of the member, including validity of rights and spending limits. The card remains the property of the issuer. A defective card may be exchanged for a replacement with the same spending limit.
Membership takes effect on the date the member signs the membership form. The minimum subscription period is one calendar year, expiring on December 31. Membership renews automatically unless terminated by written notice at least 2 months before the annual expiry date.
Health+ may modify these conditions with advance notice. Members have 30 days upon notification to terminate their membership in writing. After this period, modifications are deemed accepted and immediately applicable.
All services available within approved medical structures can be covered by the card, up to the authorised spending limit for the member's tier. Any treatment offered at an approved facility is eligible.
Amounts owed are payable at the latest in the month following the service, by automatic bank debit. Members may request a multi-instalment plan. No additional charges beyond the medical facility's rates on the date of service are applied.
Members who fail to comply with these conditions or miss payment deadlines may have services suspended or membership cancelled. Reinstatement requires full settlement of outstanding amounts. Suspension may also occur in cases of fraud or criminal misuse.
Services are provided upon verification of the member's 6-digit PIN or biometric identification within the authorised spending limit. Electronic records constitute proof of operations. Health+ is responsible for losses due to system malfunction under its direct control, but not for unavailability from external factors.
Members must immediately notify Health+ in the event of card theft or loss, confirmed in writing. Operations before a valid opposition are the member's responsibility. Operations after valid opposition are Health+'s responsibility, except those carried out by the card holder.
Members may file a written complaint within 90 days of a disputed transaction. Health+ must produce relevant records within 45 days of a member's request. Any dispute will be submitted to arbitration in accordance with Somali law. These conditions apply exclusively within the Federal Republic of Somalia.
